Wear Words Studio was born between Milwaukee and Madison, Wisconsin—two cities with creative identities all their own.
Milwaukee brings an underground edge: independent art, music, streetwear, and a culture that has never needed permission to be interesting. Madison brings its own kind of rebellion—literary, eclectic, a little offbeat, and proudly independent.
Our founders are writers and lifelong lovers of poetry. And like so many people who create, we saw a frustrating truth: some of the most incredible words being written today may never reach the audience they deserve.
We wanted to create another way.
